It looks like Ellen DeGeneres has decided NOT to return as a judge on American Idol next season. FOX sent out a press release this afternoon confirming the news. Also off the panel, Kara Dioguardi.
So who will they bring in to replace them?

Apparently the most recent cast of Dancing with the Stars was basically a big love fest for all the quasi-celebs involved, all except one: Kate Gosselin. Tried as they might, the rest of the D-listers couldn’t get Kate to party down with them, or even return their post show phone calls.
