A festival… You know, for kids!
On February 20th, 2010, the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island will be hosting the Pop-Con, an all-day pop culture experience for tweens with multiple stages, games and a “Culture Mall”. Featuring over half-a-dozen musical artists, actors and young pop icons, Pop-con aims to be the pop event with the stars the kids want to see.
Featured performers at Pop-Con include our boy Justin Bieber, the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez with her band The Scene, Push Play, Care Bears on Fire, Nickelodeon’s Nat & Alex Wolff, Mercy Mercedes and more to be announced.
Extracurricular Activities:
Pop-con promises to be more than just a concert experience, with gaming stations, product sampling and vendors, including a “Culture Mall” which will host independent fashion merchandise from companies such as Glamour Kills. In addition, the event will have programmed lectures, seminars and other opportunities for young, aspiring artists, actors and actresses looking to get advice from top industry professionals and stars of sport and screen.
