Jess Slams Melrose On Twitter
Oh Twitter, how you lead to such mature expressions of feelings…
Take for instance, Jessica Simpson’s recent critique of Melrose Place on her Twitter page: “CW catching up on MP. who writes this crap? i have had bad scripts to work with,but this? thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press.”
It’s kind of sweet that Jess is sticking up for sister Ashlee, but kind of petty since Ashlee actually took the high road on this one. After hearing the news of her dismissal she said in a statement: “Having the chance to play Violet on Melrose Place has been a thrill. Although I always knew her story would come to a final, insanely unpredictable end, playing a creepy, unstable character was something I always wanted to do, so I jumped at the chance. Thanks to the CW and the entire cast and crew of Melrose Place for allowing me this opportunity.”
Who would have thought that the only Simpson with any class would be Ashlee? Maybe it was her stint on 7th Heaven, that show just reeked of wholesome of family values.
All in all, Jess’ Twitter is quite amusing in its own right, like her Tweet from last night: “This full moon is beaming through my window with grace. I am falling asleep encountering this intense moonlit dream. Thank God it found me.”
Apparently Jess can Twitter while she’s sleeping. My goodness, she is talented!
