Method Man Arrested On Staten Island
Oh Method Man, what have you gotten yourself into now!?
Method Man, the most recognizable rapper from “Shaolin’s” Wu Tang Clan, was arrested for evasion of taxes yesterday on Staten Island. He’ll be facing up to 4 years in prison, depending on what a judge says.
The rapper turned actor/producer, also known as Clifford Smith, owes the State of New York $32,000 in back taxes for the years of 2004-2007. He was arrested after turning himself in, and then released without bail. He’ll be back in court in early December to face the consequences.
While, personally, I could definitely use an extra $32k if I were making enough to owe that much money… I still have to laugh at Mr. Man. For all of the things you could do time for, this is definitely the lamest.
