Bobbleheads and Peep Shows!

What else are you going to do with your life now that Jon & Kate are getting divorced? I guess it’s time to turn off the incessant reruns of the happy lil family and start living our own lives.

If you’re new to the great outdoors, I’ve compiled a list of awesome things that you can do on a Tuesday night such as this.  Actually they’re things you have to do THIS Tuesday night, because not all of them are repeat events.

Brooklyn Cyclones

You can see the Brooklyn Cyclones any ol’ time, but tonight the first 2500 fans get a free President Barack Obama bobblehead doll.  You know you’ve made it when you’re a bobblehead.  Oh, and did I mention they play baseball at the games too?

Posey Peep Show

Now you can witness a peep show without having to go into one of those sketchy joints on 8th Avenue near Times Square. Public Assembly is hosting an absurdest peep show, I think that means it’s artistic or something.  Here’s your opportunity to pretend to be all artsy-fartsy while still getting your pervert on.

Tracking the Credit Crisis

First of all: Who knew there was a Museum of American Finance?

Images of Wall Street blokes, taxidermied and displayed behind a sheet of glass come to mind.  Hmmm.  Creepy.
Even though I never knew it existed, I’m pretty excited by their current exhibit targeted at teaching the masses just what the eff is happening in the economy.  The exhibit starts with the exact moment that things started heading south and explains what’s going on and the eventual possible outcomes of the stimulus plan. Crazytown. What will museums think up next?
